MedStar Ambulance Mourn The Loss Of EVP/COO Who Passed Away
It is with profound sadness that MedStar Ambulance announces the passing of Mark Olson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, on December 30th, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Olson succumbed to injuries sustained in a serious motor vehicle accident while in Arizona on Christmas Eve. His sudden and tragic passing has sent waves of grief through the MedStar family, the broader emergency medical services community, and all who knew him.
As an EVP and COO, Mark was more than a leader; he was a dedicated steward of MedStar’s mission to provide compassionate care. His commitment to excellence and his teams shaped the organization’s service to the community.
