Dick Testa,Union-Endicott Board Of Education Member Has Died

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of longtime Union-Endicott Board of Education member Dick Testa, who passed away on January 6.

The Union-Endicott community has lost a true champion. Mr. Dick Testa, a proud 1961 U-E graduate, passed away on January 6, leaving behind a profound legacy of service and Tiger Pride.

A devoted family man, he and his wife, Nancy, raised their children, Derrick and Jennifer, here. His commitment to his hometown was boundless. Beyond over 25 years on the Board of Education, his service touched countless lives through Endicott Sertoma, youth baseball, the U-E Education Foundation, and as a cherished special reader in elementary classrooms.

His remarkable contributions were recognized with inductions into the U-E Alumni Having Made a Difference and Athletic Hall of Fame, among many other honors. Yet, he will be most remembered for his wit, positive spirit, and unwavering belief in U-E students.

His impact on our schools and community is immeasurable and lasting. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and all who knew him. Arrangements will be shared when available. Please keep the Testa family in your thoughts.
